Earning your Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians (CAMT) expands your skills, builds your reputation and credibility, boosts your confidence, and prepares you for advancement.
Effective July 1, 2016, individuals performing water heater and AC repairs (NOT including replace-ment) where parts cost no more than $1,000 must hold the Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians (CAMTs).
Requirements: To obtain the CAMT credential, candidates must complete the following:
• Minimum of 12 months of apartment or rental housing maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 12 months of apartment or rental housing maintenance experience.
• Successful completion of all CAMT coursework (totaling 80 hours)
• Meet all examination standards within six (6) months of declaring candidacy
